Woodpecker NDT Instruments

JR Technology (JRTL) continue expansion and are pleased to have recently signed a new agreement with Cadex to continue as Agents and distributors providing product support and technical sales advise for the Woodpecker Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) instrument (Territories are shown on the JRTL Website www.jrtech.co.uk).  Recent development of the Woodpecker has simplified Composite repair and overhaul as the new XY plotter can record the location of faults making it even more user friendly.  

Carbon fibre composites repair training

Helicopter rotor repair and overhaul is an area where the Woodpecker is extensively used, as modern helicopters make use of Advanced  Materials – particularly composite structures containing Carbon fibre. JRTL act as consultants and advise on repair of faults found in composites and can provide any composites repair training required. JRTL can also provide the necessary composite repair and overhaul equipment. so that all materials and equipment can conveniently be obtained as single source composites repair materials and equipment.  

Novatech Controls hot bonding controllers

JRTL continue as agents and distributors for Novatech Controls, supplying their range of hot bonding controllers which provide, and control, the essential services for carrying out resin bonded structures repair.  This includes the HBC-4301.  

JRTL are also able to supply aerospace composite consumables t 44 1763 260721 e.g.vacuum bagging materials, composite cutting equipment, hoses, fittings, flexible heater mats, heater lamps etc.  JRTL have a strong association with Victory Lighting and are able to offer an extensive range of composites Infra Red (IR) heater lamps specifically adapted for the aerospace industry. 

ISOJET RTM units

JRTL have additionally expanded their business and are now the UK Sales & Service Centre for the French ISOJET Equipements Company range of resin transfer moulding (RTM) units. This along with supply of composites vacuum presses compliments the JRTL business as it enables JRTL to offer a more comprehensive service to companies using composite materials. 

Helicopter maintenance equipment for Helicopter blade repair and overhaul. continues to form a large proportion of the JRTL business.   Non destructive testing equipment and helicopter component test equipment such as moisture meters, vacuum leak detectors etc, helicopter component repair and overhaul items and radome repair equipment for composite fibre radomes. 

JRTL have recently presented a paper at the British Institute of Non-destructive Testing Conference in Nottingham giving an update on the JRTL materials test equipment. JRTL can provide both materials  testing services and  non-destructive testing training.   

JRTL have been working with adhesive bonded structures in excess of 25 years and expect this to continue.
