Ultra Electronics, Controls is a business within the Ultra Electronics group and specialises in the design, manufacture and support of state of the art electronics flight control systems and utilities for commercial and military aircraft and fighting vehicles.

    

Ultra Controls products are specified on Airbus A318, A319, A320, A321, A330 & A340, Bombardier Q400, SAAB 340 & 2000, Eurofighter Typhoon, Hawk and Gripen. and has recently been selected to supply the wing ice protection system for the Boeing 787 dreamliner

  

 

The product range includes:

  

Wing Ice Protection controls for the Boeing 787 dreamliner

  

Landing Gear Control and Interface Computers for both civil and military aircraft.

  

Propeller Electronics - Electronic controllers for propeller pitch and synchrophasing control together with de-icing systems for propeller blades and propeller balancing systems.

  

Flight Control Electronics - Electronic Controllers for position control of both flap and rudder

  

Engine controls Accessories - ignition relays and amplifiers for engines.

Ultra Controls has the complete range of skills and facilities necessary to design and build ultra-reliable, fault-tolerant flight control systems for operation in hostile environments. These include Software Engineering to DO178B Level A standard, extensive environmental and production test facilities together with product support centres worldwide.
