Summer 2008

During May, June and July this year the music industry and its fans have enjoyed some brilliant shows such as The Big Weekend, T in the Park, Naas Oxegen Festival , Live Earth and of course Glastonbury with each event welcoming one or more ACS charters.

The music industry is a primary market for ACS, the summer music festivals and World and European tours have kept ACS on their toes delivering some of the world’s best selling artists to their shows.

With ACS's expertise at choosing the ideal aircraft types, one of the charters involved a unique 19 seat helicopter to get the artists as close as possible to the crowded festival sites, avoiding the traffic and getting them on stage on time.

Some of these flights have been planned since the beginning of the year, with countless changes and updates - some enquiries were even received within 24 hours of being airborne! Whatever the timeframe to get the bands in the air, ACS can continue to ensure the crowds see their favourite artists perform.
