In recent years sophisticated industries have recognised the importance of NDT to their own product quality. Critical demands are placed on NDT engineers and the techniques upon which they rely. This has led to an increasingly frequent requirement for all inspection and testing to be conducted using procedures specified and controlled by highly experienced 'Level 3' certified engineers.
We offer the expertise of one of the largest teams of independently certified Level III engineers in the UK. These engineers have been chosen so that their skills and experience provide a pool of knowledge covering the needs of a wide variety of engineering industries and their manufacturing techniques. (E.g. welding, casting, forging, composite materials and fabrication etc.). Each of our engineers carries multi-disciplinary certification. Approvals have also been gained under all of the major British, European and American certification systems.
The South West School Of Non-Destructive Testing
The South West School of NDT specialises in providing training and examination services in the fields of NDT and associated technologies.

The school also holds independent accreditation via the British Institute of NDT.
Although courses and examinations at all levels (levels 1, 2 and 3) are routinely conducted at the training centre based in Cardiff UK, instructors and examiners travel to various parts of the world to provide such services at client locations.

And dye Penetrant inspection
the School also specialises in structuring courses and examinations in many of the emerging techniques especially those related to composite material inspection.
A team of experienced multi-method NDT level 3 instructors and examiners not only support the training and examination activity but also form the basis of a much used NDT consultancy service. Ranging from an all-encompassing annual consultancy contract to the one-off approval of testing techniques and procedures, members of the team provide advice and technical direction in all facets of NDT. Most serve on national and international committees to assist in the formulation future standards and policy.
