WADIS 24 displaces water and humidity giving to the treated surfaces a water-repellency by

adding a thin translucent, soft film with good anti-corrosive properties. Free from boron,

silicone, barium.

Its dielectric features are excellent. It can be used without any hazard on all switch gears and

control gears, including high tension. WADIS 24 is also a releasing and lubricating agent.

WADIS 24 possesses a great affinity for metallic

surfaces, superior to those of water. Owing to an

extremely weak surface tension combined with a

very strong capillary attraction, it acts by very

quickly substituting itself for water, penetrating

and infiltrating into the slightest porosities and

fissures and form a monomolecular tight,

insulating and protective film.

WADIS 24 does not attack paints, plastic and

rubbers.

The translucent, soft, thin film of the product

allows inspection of parts without requiring its

previous removal.

The successive applications of WADIS 24 do not

accumulate. A new application makes the old film

dissolve; forming a new film.

Compatible with mineral oils, the protected

pieces can come directly into contact with other

lubricants and with hydraulic fluids.

As it is a lubricant itself, it can be used for

shallow forming without any other protection.

It is unnecessary to remove WADIS 24 from

pieces before a machining operation. A rapid

mixture will be effected between product and

cutting oil without any risk of dirtying.

WADIS 24 is compatible with long-lasting

protectives such as SOCOPAC. When it is

necessary to displace the water from the

substrate (areas subjected to condensation) and

in the same time to assure a long-lasting

protection, WADIS 24 should be used first in

order to displace water and then SOCOPAC 50

should be applied to ensure protection of several

years duration.

(bolts, screws...).

WADIS 24/60 displaces and eliminates water and humidity making the treated surfaces

water-repellent by adding a thin, translucent, soft film with excellent anti-corrosive power. It

is particularly intended to remove the rinsing waters from pieces that have been surface

treated. Its use in bath is facilitated by its high flash point. Free from boron, silicone and

barium.

The translucent, soft, thin, film formed by the

product allows control operations on the pieces to

take place without removal being necessary.

Successive applications of WADIS 24/60 are not

additive. A new application leads to dissolution of

the old film forming a new film.

USES

WADIS 24/60 can be used in all industrial sectors: aeronautical, space, shipbuilding, military,

automobile, engineering, electronic, surfaces treatment etc..., and also in manufacturing, repairs,

unscheduled or preventive maintenance.

The protection time depends on the ambient atmosphere and the protected metal. It can be reduced

to 15 days and less for outdoor storage without shelter in a particularly aggressive environment

such as sea fog, permanent rain or humidity or acid atmosphere. On average it reaches 1 year for

indoor and 6 months for outdoor storage.

WADIS 634 DM

634 Standard.

Composed of an active organic product in a petroleum distillate solution, containing no

aromatic solvents, WADIS 634 DM meets the specifications of the Norm AIR 3634/OTAN C

634/DEF.STAN 68.10/2 (P x 24).

WADIS 634 DM is a water-displacing, lubricating fluid intended for all painted or unpainted

metallic substrates and for electric motors or internal combustion engines exposed to humidity

or corrosive atmospheres.

The hydrophobic action of WADIS 634 DM is both

preventive and curative :

- Applied for a preventive purpose, WADIS 634

DM forms a thin, waterproof and impermeable

film, thus isolating totally the metallic surfaces and

preventing the corrosion chemically and

physically.

- Applied on humid surfaces, WADIS 634 DM

exerts an effect of affinity with those surfaces,

both by capillary action and by surface tension.

The water-repellent film is formed at once,

substituting itself for the water film, creating a

hydrophobic surface.

The product is totally homogenous, without risk

of separation even at low temperature and is

usable on all surfaces, included those which are

brought to a high temperature (turbojets for

instance), by spraying or by dipping.

WADIS 634 DM does not cause the deterioration

of paints, plastic materials and elastomers

(rubbers). It is non crazing on polycarbonates

and Plexiglas.

WADIS 634 DM is an efficient protective

compound for metals and alloys, steels,

aluminiums, magnesium, titanium and copper.
