Monarch Aircraft Engineering Ltd was voted Best European Airline MRO of the Year in 2007. Its position in the market is supported by its EASA Part 147 approved type training school. Known as MAET (Monarch Aircraft Engineering Training) the department has been a provider of high quality aircraft maintenance training for many years and is staffed by permanently employed professional instructors who have a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from operating and maintaining Monarch's own fleet of Airbus and Boeing types and those of its many external customers.

The department is responsible for all aspects of training within Monarch Aircraft Engineering Ltd, This ranges from the aircraft type training to EASA Part 66 C, B1, B2 and A licence standards to apprentice and adult training programmes as well as Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety, Working at Height, Confined Spaces and other related training.

Courses cover the requirements of the EASA Part-66 B1, B2 or A licences, we are also able to cover all ATA chapters and subject areas up to ATA 104 level III to meet customer requirements. Engine ground training is also taught where a simulator is available.

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Training Department are EASA Part-147 approved to carry out the following aircraft type training:

A300-600 with CF6-80 engines

A300-600 with PW4000 engines

A310 with CF6-80 engines

A310 with PW4000 engines

A318 / 319 / 320 / 321 with CFM56 engines

A319 / 320 / 321 with V2500 engines

A330 with CF6-80 engines

A330 with RR Trent engines

Boeing type training

B757 with RR RB211 engines

B767 with CF6-80 engines

B767 with PW4000 engines
