Meggitt Avionics is located in Fareham midway between Southampton and Portsmouth on the south coast of England.
They design and manufacture Flight Deck Avionics, Data Acquisition Systems, Instrumentation and Life Support Equipment.

Meggitt Avionics is a trading company within the Aerospace Systems Division of Meggitt PLC, a British international engineering group with sales of over £400 million ($720 million).

Since the early 1960s they have produced Altimeters, Airspeed Indicators, Airspeed Accelerometers and Indicators, using traditional electro-mechanical technology. This experience enabled them in recent years to focus considerable engineering invention and resource into the development of the current range of avionics products. These innovative designs have received wide acclaim within the industry and have made a significant contribution to the evolution of the modern cockpit.

The current product range harnesses 'Cutting Edge' advanced digital processing and display techniques and calls on their unrivalled qualifications as a supplier of solid-state instrumentation. Meggitt Avionics manufactures and supports a range of electro-mechanical instruments for military aircraft. These include altimeters, airspeed indicators, moving coil gauges and fatigue meters. Our life support division designs, manufactures and supports specialized oxygen storage and distribution systems for military aircrew.
