JR Technology (JRTL) are specialists in Composites, composite Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and “on location” Composite repair and overhaul. They act as Consultants on all facets of Advanced Materials including NDT and Composite Component Repair and provide equipment and materials associated to the inspection and repair of composites.

JRTL regularly provide Training relating to many aspects of Composite Materials including the use of Carbon fibre in Composite structures, Composite component repair and overhaul, the use of Non destructive testing equipment and many other issues relative to Bonded structures.

JRTL are also involved in Helicopter component repair and overhaul and have considerable experience in Helicopter rotor repair and overhaul. Many maintenance shops have used JRTL Test Equipment and Composite consumables e.g. Vacuum bagging materials for Helicopter blade repair and overhaul for many years.

JRTL can advise on and supply Composite repair and overhaul equipment, and Materials test equipment such as Moisture meters and they are Agents and distributors for Novatech hot bonders which provide, and control the essential services for carrying out repairs of Resin bonded structures.

Apart from advising on Composite fibres, Composite cutting, supplying Radome repair equipment etc, JRTL are Agents and distributors for Woodpecker and Wichitech tap testers which provide a simple and effective method of detecting flaws in Composite structures. Apart from supply of consumables i.e. bagging materials, JRTL are also suppliers of Flexible rubber heater mats and Infra Red (IR) heater lamps to provide the heat source for carrying out composite repairs. It is critical that the heat is precisely applied and controlled and the Novatech hot bond controller will provide this control. The Novatech unit is portable and can be used at different locations and will provide and control both the heat source and vacuum to carryout composite repairs. Additionally JRTL supply a range of instruments to assist with the processing of composites including, countdown timers, vacuum leak detectors, data loggers etc.

Helicopter maintenance equipment continues to be supplied as does processing equipment such as Composites vacuum presses, and the JRTL Non-destructive testing training courses help keep maintenance staff up to date with procedures / regulations etc. Resin transfer moulding material supply and training is now also being provided by JRTL along with Testing Services.

Notably JRTL have been working with Adhesive bonded structures in excess of 25 years and became involved with Carbon fibres and Carbon fibre reinforced composites virtually since their conception. They have been involved with Adhesive bonded components for nearly half a century and have a wealth of experience to offer their customers.
