Aero Engine maintenance

We offer services for many engine types, including Lycoming, Continental, Rolls Royce / Allison and classic engine types such as the Gypsy and Alvis Leonides.

We have the equipment, b2 licensed engineers and expertise to undertake:

Repairs to engines against specific known defects, Engine fault diagnosis, Cylinder compression retrieval / restoration, Cylinder top overhaul, Engine core repair / overhaul, Engine shockload inspections, Engine overspeed inspections, Full engine overhaul, Engine QEC shop, Component balancing - Camshafts and Crankshafts etc., engine component overhaul, full engine testing.

EASA C5 rating electrical accessories repair

Bendix, Bosch and Unison Slick Magnetos, AC Generators, Starters and starter motors, Ignition looms, Lead Acid and NiCad batteries, BTH magnetos.

EASA C6 rating accessories and equipment repair

Propeller Governors, Fuel Nozzles, Marvel Carburetors, undercarriage actuators, aircraft valves and pumps.

EASA C13 rating instrument repair

Within our specialist instrument shop, our technicians have over 40 years of experience in instrument repair work.

We have a range of capabilities for Pitostatic instruments, engine instruments, vertical speed indicators, compasses, temperature instruments, tachometers and fuel (quantity) transmitters.

CFS now has a distributor agreement with Mid-Continental Instruments and can provide a competitive price to meet your instrument requirements.

EASA C14 rating undercarriage repair

includes wheel maintenance, nose wheel maintenance, brake maintenance

EASA C16 rating propeller overhaul

McCauley, Hartzell, Sensenich, and Hamilton Standard propeller overhaul.

EASA D1 rating NDT
