Membership
Aerospace Wales Forum is an advanced cluster management organisation reaching some 200+ companies with an active
membership of over 100. The Forum provides the vital links between the prime contractors, academia, all tiers of
the supply chain, the Welsh Assembly Government and other stakeholders within the aerospace and defence industry.
The focus of the Forum is on skills development, supply chain development, technology and innovation - the key
elements to the creation of a world competitive supply chain.
UK SC21 Supply Chain initiative
Working in close partnership with SBAC, the UK’s national aerospace organisation, we are actively involved in
the UK SC21 Supply Chain initiative and have now the co-ordinated backing of 2 key prime contractors, Airbus and
General Dynamics. The SC21 programme is designed to develop the sector supply chain required for the country to be
globally competitive.
